A busy engineering firm is seeking a Construction Quality Control Inspector to join their construction team based in Wallops Island, VA.
This person will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating construction activities to ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- This role plays a crucial part in maintaining construction quality and client satisfaction. Responsibilities : Conduct inspections of construction work, materials and installations to verify compliance with project plans, specifications, and applicable codes;
- Perform quality control checks throughout the construction process, including foundation, framing, electrical, plumbing, and finishing stages;
- Identify and document construction defects, deviations, and non-conformities, and work with project teams to implement corrective actions;
Review construction drawings, shop drawings, and submittals to ensure accuracy and adherence to project requirements; Certification in quality control or related field (, ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician, AWS Certified Welding Inspector) is a plus. Salary : $52K.#IND
